We’re building a network of smart people with good intentions. Our mission is to help save the world, or at least inspire others to try their damn best. Bold words, perhaps, but the time for timidity has passed.

thin air is a marketing agency with a distinct purpose: we select only innovative clients that are confronting climate change. We help them by leveraging skills we’ve sharpened for many years – brand building, segmentation, market research, public relations, client experience, and digital marketing. Our agency drives the success of companies that we all need to win

A new agency, for the challenge of our lifetimes

How we do it differently:

For decades agencies have been plagued by the same problem: a chronic mismatch of supply and demand. When the business is jumping, staff are overworked and prone to burnout. During periods of stagnancy, idle time creeps into billable rates and clients derive less value per dollar. Our operating model breaks that long standing cycle.

We’re a team of teams

thin air teams with other agency-based groups of writers, designers, digital media developers, videographers, illustrators, researchers, publicists, media strategists, social strategists, experience designers, and more. These are typically small and nimble crews with deep expertise in their field. In some cases we will invest in these firms, creating a virtuous cycle where we win together.

Our profits are virtuously reinvested

Profits are important to us – not for lining our pockets, but for compounding our impact. We view our profit pool as an investment fund that can amplify our efforts at improving the world. We invest in partner agencies that can help us scale and grow. We may also invest in clean tech solutions, and environmental projects that benefit the planet.

We’re 100% focused on a sustainable future

We only select clients that can make a beneficial contribution to a post-carbon economy. We view climate disruption (with all of its knock-on effects)  as the most significant challenge of our lifetimes and are ruthlessly focused on it. This zeal bring benefits for our clients because it’s faster, more predictive, and uncompromisingly focused.
